§ 14.04.020. Bill payment deadline—Service discontinued and charges deemed lien on property when.

  • In the event the bills for water or sewer services, or any part thereof, are not paid in full within sixty days after the date when rendered, service shall be immediately discontinued and shut off. The city shall have a lien on any lot or parcel of land for any legal charges for the product of such utility used or consumed thereon by the owner thereof and being so unpaid, as provided by the laws of the state and the city and the city at its election may discontinue the furnishing of such property with water.
