§ 10.80.090. Illegally parked vehicle—Declared nuisance—Impoundment—Redemption when.

Any vehicle of any kind or description whatsoever found parked at a place or in a manner prohibited or declared to be unlawful by this title and Chapter 8.04 or in violation of the restrictions on stopping, standing or parking imposed by this title and Chapter 8.04 or other sections of this code is declared to constitute a nuisance and may be impounded by any police officer and shall only be surrendered to the duly identified owner or to the duly authorized agent of such owner, upon the payment to the garage or repair shop of the towing and storage charges, which sum is hereby declared to be the pound fee covering the same.
