§ 6.08.040. License—Application—Exemptions from fee payment.

A.

Each owner applying for a license shall make application on a form provided by the city clerk. The application shall state his name and address; the name, breed, color, sex and age of each dog owned or kept by him and the date he acquired each dog, if acquired after July 1st of the current year.

B.

Each owner of a Seeing Eye dog properly trained to assist blind persons, if such dog is actually used by a blind person for the purpose of aiding him in going from place to place, shall make an application for a license on such form, but the license shall be issued without charge.

C.

Each dog used by police officers in the line of duty shall make an application for a license on such form, but the license shall be issued without charge.
