§ 20.20.070. Improvements—Completion prerequisite to final approval when—Bond.

All improvements and final map procedures required by this section shall be completed prior to final map approval and certification or, at the discretion of the city council, the city council may enter into an agreement with the owner of property for a required improvement or required improvements and, if an agreement is entered into pursuant to this section, the city council may require that the agreement be secured by a good and sufficient bond or other security in the amount determined by the city council. All improvements required under section 20.20.060 shall be completed within twenty-four months of the date a final map is recorded unless the completion date is extended by the city council for good cause shown.
