§ 8.16.010. Definitions.

  • A.

    "Commercial accounts" means motels, stores, restaurants and other business places.

    B.

    "Garbage" means all waste and discarded materials from dwelling places, households, apartments, stores, restaurants and other business places, specifically including normal refuse such as cans, bottles, paper, food wastes, market refuse, vegetables or organic waste substance of any kind, and all matter which may be injurious or dangerous to health.

    C.

    "Other offensive matter and substances" means such things as metallic refuse, tree limbs, sod, dirt, rock, tires, concrete, lumber, furniture, appliances, dead animals or parts thereof, or other similar materials.

    D.

    "Residential accounts" means all dwelling places, such as single-family residences, duplexes, apartments, cabins and trailer or mobile home parks.

    E.

    "Trash" means normal household or business waste, such as lawn clippings, leaves, paper and cardboard debris, discarded clothing, ashes and weeds. Exception: Small tree limbs cut and bundled a maximum of three feet long shall be included as trash.
