§ 8.04.110. Removal by city—Notice of costs and place of impoundment required.

  • Within forty-eight hours of the removal of such vehicle, the chief of police shall give notice to the registered owner and any person having a security interest in such vehicle, if known, and also to the owner or occupant of the private property from which the vehicle was removed, as applicable, that such vehicle (or vehicles) has been impounded and stored for violation of this chapter. The notice shall state the location where the vehicle (or vehicles) is stored and the costs incurred by the city for removal.
