§ 8.04.050. Removal—Notice to owner required—Service—Director of traffic authority.

  • Whenever it comes to the attention of the director of traffic that any nuisance as defined in Section 8.04.030 exists in the city, a notice in writing shall be served upon the registered owner and any person having a security interest therein by registered or certified mail, and upon the occupant of the land where the nuisance exists, or in case there is no such occupant, then upon the owner of the property or his agent, notifying them of the existence of said nuisance and requesting its removal in the time specified in this chapter.
