§ 6.20.040. Interference with poundmaster or police officer prohibited when.

It is unlawful for any person in any manner:
A.

To interfere or attempt to interfere with the poundmaster or any police officer in the performance of any duty imposed by the provisions of this chapter and Chapters 6.08, 6.12, 6.16 and 6.24;

B.

Unlawfully to take or attempt to take any dog seized pursuant to the provisions of such sections from the custody of the poundmaster or any police officer;

C.

To remove or attempt to remove from the public pound any dog impounded therein without having first redeemed the same or obtained permission of the poundmaster to do so.
