§ 2.40.020. Term of office.

  • The term of office of all appointive officers shall be two years, ending on the thirtieth day of June following each municipal election and until their successors are duly appointed and qualified, unless sooner removed by the mayor, with the concurrence of a majority of the members of the city council; but any such person so appointed may be removed by the votes of all the members of the city council, if the council shall by resolution so provide.
