§ 2.15.020. Appointment—Compensation—Term.

A.

The mayor may, subject to confirmation by the city council, appoint a competent person to the position of director of public works.

B.

The person appointed to the position of director of public works shall receive such salary as may from time to time be fixed, which shall be paid in the same manner and at the same time as the compensation for other city employees is paid.

C.

The director of public works shall serve at the pleasure of the mayor and city council.
