§ 20.16.010. Preliminary procedures.

  • The subdivider shall first engage a surveyor or engineer to compile information and data on the site to be subdivided, study suitable use of site and prepare an outline sketch plan for submission to the city engineer for advice and assistance. The city engineer will examine the outline sketch map and inform the subdivider of design standards, provisions of the city plan or master plan and any other regulations which may affect the development of the area. The subdivider, after reaching preliminary conclusions as to economy and feasibility, may then commence work on the tentative plat procedure.
