§ 13.12.030. Application—City council hearing authority.

Upon the filing of an application to vacate a street, avenue, alley or any portion thereof, the city council shall, at its next regular meeting after the completion of the publication of notice required by Section 13.12.020, proceed to hear and consider the same, and if the city council be satisfied that neither the public, nor any person, will be materially injured thereby, it shall order such street, avenue or alley, or such portion thereof, to be vacated as prayed for in the application.
