§ 10.24.030. Through streets and other stop intersections—Stop signs required—Placement.

  • Along any street or portion of a street that the city council designates or describes as a through street, or at any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop, the chief of police shall cause to be erected and maintained stop signs as follows:

    A.

    A stop sign shall be erected on each street intersecting such through street or portion thereof so designated and at those entrances to other intersections where a stop is required.

    B.

    Every stop sign shall be erected and placed at or near the entrance to the highway, street or intersection where a stop is required and such signs shall be as nearly uniform throughout the city as may be practicable.
