§ 10.20.050. Record of authorized traffic control devices—Maintained by city engineer—Depiction on maps or maps—Evidence.

  • A.

    The city engineer shall maintain in his office copies of all resolutions received by him pursuant to Section 10.20.040.

    B.

    The city engineer shall prepare and maintain in his office a map or maps of the city which identify the location of all traffic control devices authorized by the city council pursuant to this chapter, which map shall be promptly revised following the receipt by the city engineer of any resolution submitted to him in accordance with Section 10.20.040.

    C.

    All resolutions and maps referred to in subsections (A) and (B) of this section shall be available for public inspection in the office of the city engineer during regular business hours.

    D.

    Copies of resolutions and maps, certified by the city engineer to be true and correct copies of the documents maintained in his office pursuant to subsections (A) and (B) of this section, shall constitute prima facie evidence of the existence, validity, nature and location of all traffic control devices reflected in such documentation and shall be admissible in evidence, without further foundation or proof, in all actions and proceedings before the municipal court.
